Home Safety Doesn’t Take a Holiday!
Here are three quick and painless tips to keep your home safe during the holidays.
1.) If you celebrate the holidays with a tree, keep it watered. In the video link below, the tree on the left has not been watered and was allowed to dry out. The tree on the right has been watered regularly. Watch and see what a difference a little water makes.
2.) Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for hanging lights. While many allow for multiple sets to be connected to one another, there is a limit and it’s NOT 10 or 15!
3.) After watching this short video, the third tip – Keep a fresh fire extinguisher in the house and make sure everyone knows where it is.
