Summer is fast approaching and with it, a need to throw open the windows and doors for a breath of fresh air. And every time we do, it never fails that one, lonely little fly finds a way into our homes to irritate us to no end.
If a ripped screen is the culprit for these unwanted flying pests, here are two quick fixes to keep them outside where they belong.
Option 1
I’m not sure it can get much simpler than this… use a needle and thread (the color of the screen) to sew the ripped screen. Five minutes later you’re done and the repair will hold until you find the time to replace the entire screen.
Option 2
Wait, I think it just got easier…apply clear nail polish to both sides of the ripped screen and watch it dry to a transparent bond.
Now sit back and enjoy an icy cold beverage, after all that work you deserve it!
